Full Description
Manta Bay
Located near Broken Beach, this place is known as the regular feeding area for manta rays where many of these gentle giants can be seen gathering and walking around the shallow water. In all honesty, these pelagic creatures are everywhere in Nusa Penida, but only in Manta Bay (hence the name) can you visit their kingdom and see them up close.
Gamat Bay
Gamat Bay is located between Toya Pakeh and Crystal Bay on the west side of the island and is characterized by excellent visibility, beautiful underwater life and a steep slope. The ocean floor is occupied by groups of colorful corals and white sand and offers shelter to different types of slugs and reef fish.
Crystal Bay
Crystal Bay is the most popular snorkeling location and closest to all modern amenities on the island. Crystal Bay has everything a seasonal snorkeler would like to see: minimal currents, crystal clear visibility and amazing discoveries at sea. The waves and the heel are much smaller, all thanks to the sheltering effect of the bay itself and the Batumejinong island in front.
Kelingking point of view
“Kelingking” literally means “Pinkie” in English as if you were destined to make a promise to visit this piece of paradise. It is often referred to as T-Rex beach, which has a surprisingly eerie resemblance to the famous Navagio beach in Greece. For these reasons, many travelers guarantee Kelingking as the best place in western Nusa Penida.
Paluang Cliff
Although it may not offer the same vantage point as the first, the abundance of photo props around Paluang Cliff and the fact that it is only a few minutes or walk from the Kelingking point makes it an equally worthy place to visit for your social media feed.
Broken beach
Snorkeling spots around West Nusa Penida are characterized by excellent visibility, beautiful underwater life and different depths of the sea slope. The ocean floor is occupied by groups of colorful corals and white beaches that offer shelter to different types of slugs, reef fish and sea turtles.
If you choose to add snorkeling to your tour, we will visit the 3 spots (Crystal Bay, Gamat Bay and Manta Bay) first in the morning before going to the rest of the attractions.
Angel’s Billabong
Crystal Bay is the most accessible and closest place at the port of Nusa Penida. Here you play with white sand and blue water with minimal flow. The bay is partially protected by a rugged limestone island which makes the water considerably calmer than at other locations.
